1st August 2008 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 25-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot surf Air Temperature: 18ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Perfect... well powered with my 5m and little wave board. Everytime I get chance to have a powered up session on that board I just love it. It is just so comfortable to sail, comfortable to jump and comfortable on a wave too. Lots of big jumps, lots of good backside riding and tonnes of blasting about having a whale of time! Not many people about. A couple of kites up at Aberdyfi and I was joined by a kiter from Bow Street who only had a 12m kite. I told him it would probably be too big but he had a go anyway and with a little help from me got launched and to the waters edge but then got dragged back across the beach and had to pull the safety... Maybe the wind will drop off a little for him later. Also a fisherman on the beach who politely came up and asked me where he should set up so as not to get in our way. |
